This blog is about our experiences implementing lean philosophies in two homebuilding companies in Florida. The posts cover basic principles to specific case studies, and Teammates in the homebuilding companies are encouraged to comment.
Author JC Gatlin, with Homebuilder Solutions, works with homebuilding companies to implement lean philosophies and a common problem solving methodology (PDCA, Kaizen, Standardized Work) to eliminate waste and rework.

I am not sure if you have heard of Jay Shafer of the Tumbleweed Tiny House Company. He gives us a tour of his 96-square-foot home on wheels parked in Sebastapol, California. This is an interesting perspective of waste and how he overcame that with the design of a tiny house. Check out the link below.
I would be interested in your thoughts on this as I have been following your blog recently.

JC, hello,
I have been directed to a story on your blog from a group discussion on LI, and wanted to ask you something.
I don’t see any way to contact you, and on LI we are in 3rd circle, so I am not allowed to message you or connect. How do I get in touch with you?
